Veiling Willem de Bruijn andermaal voltreffer

Vandaag vond de jaarlijkse veiling van jonge duiven van Willem de Bruijn plaats. Niet meer eind december en niet meer in de vertrouwde zaal in Thorn (wegens sluiting), maar in het mooie Hotel Nobis in Asten (NL). De drukte én het succes waren er niet minder om!
Net als vorig jaar werd een fantastisch gemiddelde gehaald van meer dan twintigduizend euro, namelijk gem. € 20.694 voor 80 jonge duiven, wat neerkomt op een totaalopbrengst van maar liefst € 1.655.520!!
Zoals verwacht werden de meeste duiven verkocht aan China, maar er verhuizen ook duiven naar Nederland, België en Duitsland.

Today marked the annual auction of young pigeons by Willem de Bruijn. No longer held at the end of December and no longer in the familiar hall in Thorn (due to its closure), the event took place instead at the beautiful Hotel Nobis in Asten, the Netherlands. Despite the change in venue, the crowd and success were as impressive as ever!
Just like last year, the auction achieved an outstanding average of over twenty thousand euros, specifically €20,694 for 80 young pigeons, resulting in an impressive total revenue of €1,655,520!
As expected, most pigeons were sold to China, though there are also pigeons heading to the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

Van de 80 duiven werden er 18 duiven verkocht voor meer dan € 30.000, waarvan één voor meer dan €100.000 verkocht werd aan een Belgisch tophok.
